The San Tan Tactical Low Profile AR-15 Gas Block is machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and black Nitride coated for heat and corrosion resistance. This low profile gas block is designed for barrels with a .750” gas block shelf and is only 1.35” tall to fit under most free float handguards. It comes with two hex head set screws for attaching to the barrel. If you are upgrading your carbine to a rifle length free float handguard, you need the San Tan Tactical Low Profile gas block.
