The Charging Handle on the DPMS LR-308 / AR-10 rifle is a simple latching design that indexes with the gas key on your bolt carrier group, this allows you to charge your rifle, eject and feed rounds manually.
About this Charging Handle: Extra Holy Ambidextrous LR-308 / AR-10 Charging Handle is made from 7075-T6 Aluminum with a type 3 hard coat anodized finish for long-lasting durability. This charging handle has been vigorously tested and we're confident it will fulfill any shooter's style needs.
Ambidextrous: This LR-308 / AR-10 charging handle can be manipulated from both sides, improving ergonomics for both left and right-handed shooters.
Latch Style: Extended Latch - Extended Latch Charging handles allow the user more surface area to grip and engage with the charging handle. While this extends just a bit further out from the upper receiver, extended latches are great for users with gloves or those wanting just a bit more leverage.
Platform: This charging handle is designed for the LR-308 platform. This will work on the AR-15 platform, but the latch will not engage with the groove cut on the upper receiver, and it will be a few inches longer.
